The position

As a Mechatronics Engineer at TBRM, you will be the key player in designing and developing hardware solutions for temperature, position, motion, and force control.
What you will do:
- Define the requirements for the control system.
- Define control hardware and collaborate with suppliers to design the overall control layout.
- Program control systems, PLC/embedded, for the machines we design and produce.
- Test and validate developed software.
- Maintain existing programs and update them as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues from multiple disciplines, such as mechanics, electronics, and software, to devise the best solutions.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for a talented professional with:
- A completed technical education at the HBO or University level (Bachelor/Master's degree).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, whether you are a Mechatronics engineer with expertise in machine control and software development, a software engineer with a passion for electronics, or an electronics engineer focusing on machine control and software development.
- Proven experience in designing and programming control systems, preferably with knowledge of PLC systems such as Beckhoff, B&R, Siemens, and/or Allen Bradley.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in industrial automation.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
- A self-sufficient work attitude and the ability to solve complex problems.
